This document provides a detailed overview of how to leverage the new linkage capabilities within the PPM module. Users are now empowered to link their projects with various records in the Riskonnect ecosystem, fostering interoperability and enhancing visibility across the entire organization. The linkage object allows users to associate projects with risk registers, control registers, incidents, and more, facilitating a comprehensive view of all pertinent project relationships.
To begin, navigate to the new linkage capability within the PPM module. This feature allows users to link their projects to other records in the Riskonnect ecosystem, enhancing interoperability and visibility across the entire organization. Users can access this linkage object through their project to evaluate all relevant relationships between the project and associated risks, controls, and incidents.

Next, you can click on the Add New icon located in the top right-hand corner. This feature enables you to create as many new linkages as desired.

This functionality allows you to seamlessly integrate your record with other records within the Riskonnect ecosystem.

You might wonder why this functionality is useful. It is beneficial for several reasons. For instance, if your organization is managing a strategic risk, you might need to implement several treatments to reduce the risk's consequence or likelihood. These treatments might evolve into a larger deliverable that cannot be managed within the typical risk-related workflow.

This is where the PPM module proves invaluable. It allows you to manage the end-to-end deliverable or treatment as a project, linking it back to the strategic risk to ensure full visibility and comprehensive reporting. We hope this overview has been informative and look forward to seeing you utilize the new linkage object within the PPM module.
