Customer reviews are a cornerstone of trust. With Nector, you can reward customers for leaving reviews — motivating them to share authentic feedback while strengthening brand credibility.
This step-by-step guide will help you configure review rewards, set bonus incentives for images or videos, and preview how these appear to customers.

The Reviews section is where you create and manage all reward configurations related to customer feedback.
How to do it: Dashboard → Program → Earning Rules → Reviews

Inside the Earning Rules screen, you’ll find three main options:
Click on Reviews to view all your currently configured review rewards.

Click Create Earning Rule to begin setting up a new reward for customer reviews.
Choose how many coins or points a customer earns for writing a review.
Example: Offer 100 points for each review submission.
💡 Tip: Start with a value that feels generous but sustainable — enough to motivate, but not to over-reward.

Once the rule is created, click on the Review Reward to open and customize its settings.

You’ll now see the points awarded for each review (e.g., 100 coins). Add a title and description to make the reward clear to customers.
Example: “Write a product review and earn 100 Nector Coins!”
Enable the checkbox labeled Visible to Customers. This makes the reward appear under the “Ways to Earn” section in the loyalty widget.
Your customers will see something like: “Get 100 Nector Coins”
Note: There are 2 descriptions: 1st - The title and description shown to the customer in their wallet history. 2nd - This content will be shown in the Ways To Earn section of the widget and the rewards page


Here’s how it appears on your storefront widget:


In "Advanced Settings," you can customize the reward count. Currently set to one, this allows each customer to submit one review per month. You can adjust the frequency to hourly, daily, monthly, or yearly as needed.
Example: Allow one review reward per customer per month. đź’ˇ Tip: Monthly limits help prevent misuse while keeping engagement consistent.

Once your preferences are set, click Save.
Changes will appear on the customer-facing side within five minutes.
In the Auto Approval section, you can set conditions for automatic publishing. For example:
Automatically approve reviews with a 4-star or 5-star rating.
đź’ˇ Tip: Auto approval speeds up the publishing process for high-quality feedback.

Encourage richer feedback by offering bonus coins for photo uploads.
Example: If a text review earns 100 coins, set image reviews to earn 200 coins (2X).
Enter “2” to apply the multiplier.
Similarly, you can offer even higher rewards for video submissions.
Example: Video reviews earn 300 coins (3X).
Click Save once configured.
Within minutes, your configured bonuses will appear in both:
Customers will see: “Upload a photo or video review to earn up to 3X coins!”
