Begin by examining the process of managing owner accounts. These accounts fall under the owner relations group in an oil and gas company. Here, you will handle account numbers and manage various types of information associated with these accounts. If your company uses a different term for owner accounts, you can adjust the terminology accordingly.

Whether you refer to them as business associates, BA numbers, account numbers, or owner numbers, you can customize the terminology in the control panel to align with your organization's lexicon. Access the owner accounts filter page by clicking on the left-hand column.

Alternatively, access the owner accounts through the control panel by selecting the owner accounts option.

If the owner account tracking tool is not visible in the control panel, enable it in the site settings by selecting the appropriate flag. This action will display the owner account tracking tool.

Once enabled, save your settings to activate the tool, and you'll be ready to proceed.

Scroll down to find the internal discussion section, where employees can record notes or references related to owner numbers. Ticket history associated with an owner number will also be displayed within the profile.

To attach an owner number to a ticket, select the contact and input the relevant owner number for tracking purposes.

The system allows you to associate one or multiple account numbers with a ticket, depending on the situation. Navigate to the control panel under site settings to create custom fields for owner account settings.

The process of creating custom fields is similar to other elements within forms and contact data, providing consistency across the system.
