This process involves utilizing Bluebeam's web and mobile platforms to access, manage, and collaborate on project documentation seamlessly from any device. The procedure is designed to facilitate efficient communication between field and office teams, streamline inspection and maintenance tasks, and ensure up-to-date information is accessible at all times.

Step 1

With Bluebeam web and mobile platforms, access your project documentation from mobile devices, tablets, or standard web browsers. This ensures that markups transition smoothly from the field to the office, saving crucial time during inspections or maintenance downtimes. You can retrieve documents with or without an internet connection, either locally or via our cloud environment, Studio. Studio Projects allows team members to view and markup P&IDs and other technical documents on a check-in and check-out basis.

Step 2

Efficiently manage drawings, inspection records, maintenance photos, and all other critical files required for effective oil and gas management. During line walks or maintenance tasks, check out the necessary documents and add field notes. You can highlight safety concerns or record as-built site conditions directly from your device.

Step 3

After completing your tasks, check the document back in to ensure that you have the most current information available.

Step 4

Switch to Studio Sessions to enable real-time collaboration among team members. Whether in the field or in the office, multiple users can add markups simultaneously and view each other's inputs live. For instance, during a site walk, a technician can use Studio Sessions to promptly add maintenance or safety observations directly onto the digital P&ID or construction drawing.

When a field engineer uploads markups to their tablet, those updates are instantly synchronized to the office through Studio. This real-time collaborative workflow is critical during shutdowns, facilitating swift resolutions to get operations back on track. Project managers or supervisors overseeing quality and safety reviews have immediate access to verified field markups, as-built modifications, or inspection records, closing the gap on communication delays.

All changes are logged, tracked, and reviewable within the project's markups list. You can filter comments, track item status, or highlight priority issues, and directly export progress for reporting or regulatory review.
