This document provides an overview of the key concepts within decídalo: profiles, accounts, and CVs. It outlines how profiles and accounts are interrelated, and explains the differences between CVs and profiles. Note: Another term used for CVs is resume. We use CV instead of resumes since the latter term is more commonly associated with job applications.
Profiles in decídalo represent an individual, typically an employee of the company, and contain all relevant information needed to include the individual in skill and resource management processes.
A profile, when paired with an account, represents a user in the system. Accounts enable individuals to log into the system and manage their profiles. An account always belongs to a profile. But a profile does not need to have an account.
CVs are documents usually sent to customers, often as part of a proposal. CVs are generated from profiles, and one profile can have multiple CVs. CVs can be maintained in various languages, while the profile itself is maintained in a single language. Decídalo includes an AI translation service that automatically generates CVs in different languages.
