This document outlines the process of using the Weha Creative Tool to upload and customize print ads for creating new ad campaigns. Follow these detailed steps to learn how to upload print ads, customize them, and generate ad codes effectively.
Begin by initiating a new campaign through the "New Campaign" button. In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how to upload an existing print ad to extract text and generate creative ad ideas.

Proceed by uploading your print ad. Select the appropriate ad category: retail, recruitment, or service-based. Since this is a retail ad, choose 'Retail' and then select your file for upload.

Here is an example of the "Morgan Shoes" print ad that we will upload.

After attaching your print ad, click 'Submit'. The system will analyze the ad to generate ad copy ideas, offering inspiration for your banner ad.

Proceed to create your first ad draft. At times, the ad may be ready immediately, while at other times, it may require customization.

Customization might be needed. Uploading a print ad allows for automatic ad copy extraction, minimizing manual input. Adjustments like color tweaks might be required.

To perfect the ad, consider making adjustments by experimenting with different color schemes.

You can select from various color schemes or create a custom one that aligns with the advertiser's brand colors.

Enhance the ad further by exploring different templates. There are eight templates available to choose from.

Options include full-screen text with a background image, a right rail image with left text, and a circled rail image with left text.

Additional templates include another full-screen layout, a triangular-shaped image with left text, and a full-color background with accent text.

For top and bottom layouts, if the initial image selection isn't ideal, adjustments can be made to replace it.

Scroll to view selected images. If unsatisfied, explore other images pulled from possible sources like the website.

Explore various images pulled from sources like the website and select the most suitable one.

Select an existing image or find a new one that enhances the ad.

New images can be applied directly to the ad layout.

Some templates allow logo uploads. Learn how to incorporate a logo into these templates.

Upload your logo file from your desktop to include it in the ad design.

Once uploaded, remember that not all templates support logos. Choose templates that do.

With the logo integrated, consider making additional color adjustments to match the client's branding.

Locate a simple black and white theme for the ad and make further adjustments as desired.

Utilize custom colors, include the business name, and refine the message text to enhance the ad's appearance.

Experiment with various color options to achieve the desired look and feel, such as a fall theme.

If available, use a white or reverse version of the logo to blend seamlessly with the ad design.

Explore font selections to find a suitable typeface and adjust the font weight to your preference.

Adjust banner messages and footer lines as needed. The system automatically extracts relevant location data from the print ad.

Review various templates and settle on the one that best fits your needs.

Once satisfied with the design, click 'Save' and 'Approve Campaign'. Ensure all changes are saved to avoid data loss.

Access the ad in several ways, such as downloading JavaScript codes for use with platforms like GAM, Google, Trade Desk, or Vision.

Select the appropriate code templates for dynamic ad tags, or create static ads if necessary by generating static banners.

Once a static ad is ready, open it in a new tab to view the static banner.

While static banners are available as backups, using ad tags is recommended for better results.

For ads requiring static backups, ensure they are prepared. Choose the necessary banner code, such as for GAM.

Download the Excel file containing your ad codes and review each size's JavaScript tag.

And that's the complete process.
