In this guide, you'll learn how to navigate the Granthika platform to contribute effectively. From logging in to managing your tasks and finalizing your submissions, each step is outlined for clarity and efficiency.
Visit granthika.in/login to access the workbench. Contributors should log in using their email and password and complete the turnstile verification to confirm they are human. Upon successful login, the contributor dashboard will display current tasks, including any assigned documents for speaking and the creation of the golden document.

On the right side of the dashboard, you can view the leaderboard, which shows assigned documents, hours worked, and total rank. Currently, there are seven users displayed, each with their corresponding rank. Click on "Start Working" to begin new tasks or "Continue Working" for tasks you have already started.

When you choose to continue your work, you will be directed to the canvas where task execution occurs. A model with voice transcription tips will be displayed. Ensure that microphone access is enabled and that you are working in a quiet space for optimal transcription quality.

You have the option to hide or view these tips repeatedly. Click on "Got It" to proceed. The assigned PDF will be visible in the left pane of your screen.

You can zoom in or out using the buttons provided to view the PDF more clearly. The assigned chunk, document name, status, time spent, and the "Submit" button for final submission from the contribution role will be displayed. Click "Cancel" if necessary to exit the task.

You may enlarge the PDF pane by zooming in or out or focus on the editor by clicking the respective button. Within the document, switch to a two-column journal view by adjusting the layout settings. Decrease the font size to 12 and select a preferred font to enhance readability.

The microphone might be hidden initially, so adjust its placement as needed according to your preference. Choose the language of the text, either English or Hindi, and begin speaking for transcription.

The content may include topics such as crimes and corruption. A thorough CBI inquiry can be requested, along with establishing a high-level cell for police arrangements to address new challenges. Due to growing discontent, a high-level grievance redress cell for the police is also necessary.

Crime rates in Delhi have reportedly doubled since the previous year. It's imperative to have a statement from the prime minister or the relevant minister to address these concerns and ensure that issues in New Delhi are not ignored. You can monitor the transcription progress here.

Align the text according to your preference and choose your preferred font style for consistency and aesthetic appeal.
