In this process, you will learn how to submit vacation or availability requests using Equina's traditional method. Follow these steps carefully to ensure your request is processed accurately.
Upon logging into Equina on your desktop computer, navigate to the "Request" button located in the top center menu.

Scroll to the right-hand side and click on the "Add Requests" button. To add a request using the traditional method, begin by selecting the type of request you wish to enter.

Choose your preferred type of request based on the options your scheduler has enabled. Next, select the dates for your request. In this example, multiple days off are selected.

Click "Confirm Dates to Preview," and your selection will appear on the right-hand side calendar. Enter any comments you wish to send to your scheduler.

In step four, specify your preference: "Must Have" or "Nice to Have." Once you have finalized your preferences, click "Submit Requests."

Your requests may take a few seconds to generate and submit. To review them, return to the requests page via the top center menu and click "Requests." Your requests will be displayed on this page.

To make any changes, click on the specific request. You can delete the request or edit any comments associated with it. And that's all! Thank you for using Equina.
