Efficient Patch Management Process

This document provides a concise and effective approach to managing patches within the Datto RMM environment. It outlines the necessary steps to review, approve, and manage patches, ensuring a streamlined and organized patch management workflow.

Step 1

To begin, navigate to the Datto RMM page and locate the "Policies" dropdown menu on the left-hand side. From this menu, select "Patch Management" to view a list of available patches.

Step 2

The list presented consists of patches pending manual approval and not ready for execution. To proceed, you must approve these patches manually by moving them to the "Approved" section. Select the desired patch and click the "Approve" button to transfer it to the Approved Patches section.
