Creating Floating Review Toast Notifications

Ensure you have some testimonials imported into Shapo to begin creating the floating review widget.

Navigate to the Widgets section and create a new widget. Input a widget name and click on 'Create'. From the options available, select the 'Toast' layout.

The 'Toast' layout is designed to display testimonials in a concise and striking manner. Modify the display settings to customize the widget's timing and placement to fit your preferences. Open the 'Settings' menu for additional configuration options, allowing for greater control over how testimonials are shown.

Step 4

In the 'Settings' panel, examine the options for displaying testimonials. Click on the 'Settings' tab to adjust preferences such as animation or transition effects. In the 'Design' section, access style options to refine the widget's appearance.

Adjust the 'Card Color' field to ensure it matches your brand's color scheme. If desired, change the typography by selecting any font from the 'Google Fonts' field. Click the 'Font' drop-down menu and choose any font from the list.

Changes to the font will immediately reflect in the preview area, allowing you to see the widget's updated appearance. After finalizing your selections, the platform will refresh the preview, displaying the new style. Fine-tune additional color settings to personalize the widget further, then review the preview to see the modifications.

Verify that the updated settings are applied and the widget appears as desired. Copy your widget code and proceed to your website platform. For demonstration purposes, we will use WordPress.

Install a tool that enables script insertion on your site and create a new snippet. Paste the widget code and configure it to load globally in the footer. Save the snippet, and you are all set.
