This document outlines the procedure for processing a daily timesheet, transitioning from a technician in the field to a supervisor for approval. The process ensures a seamless workflow within the FastField system, facilitating accurate tracking and approval of work hours.
To begin, we will review the workflow that allows a technician in the field to submit a daily timesheet for supervisor approval.

First, select the Forms option. Inside the Forms menu, choose the Daily Timesheet. Assume the role of the technician in this scenario.

Select your name from the list. This action will automatically populate your supervisor's name and email, along with your department and email. Set your start time when you began work, for example, at 7:32 AM, and the end time when you finished.

Set the end time to 4:32 PM, noting a total of nine hours of work, with eight hours as regular and one hour as overtime. Sign off to confirm the accuracy of the information.

Submit the form, which will then be sent directly to your supervisor. This workflow allows the form to be deposited into a group inbox, enabling multiple supervisors to sign off, though it can also be sent directly to a designated supervisor.

The form can be directed either to a specific supervisor or a group for approval. In the portal, the status will be updated to 'request approval'. Transition to the role of the supervisor.

Access your inbox on a laptop, desktop, or mobile device via FastField. Locate the Group Tasks section on the right, where the sign-off approval form appears. Assign it to yourself for review as a supervisor.

Review the form, noting any overtime, such as one hour. If all details are correct, proceed to approve, sign off, and acknowledge that you have reviewed the form, then submit it.

Once submitted, the process is complete. Upon refreshing the portal, the status will be updated from 'request approval' to 'approved'.

This concludes the workflow from the technician to the supervisor, demonstrating its functionality within FastField.
