Importing Reviews into Nectar Platform

This process outlines the steps required to import reviews in bulk from various platforms to the Nectar platform. The procedure allows for the efficient management and verification of customer reviews, ensuring all necessary information is accurately captured and formatted for import.

Step 1

Begin by navigating to the feature called "Import Reviews" on the dashboard.

While on the dashboard, select "Customer Data" and proceed by clicking on "Import and Bulk Update."

You will now be able to view the reviews section.

The "Import Reviews" feature is located within the reviews section.

Step 5

Use this feature to import reviews in bulk from other platforms to the Nectar platform by clicking on "Import."

Choose the appropriate provider from the available list.

Alternatively, select the Nectar format and download a sample CSV file for guidance.

Proceed to the next step once the previous ones are completed.

Ensure you have discussed the product before proceeding further.

If importing reviews for a specific product, select it from the dropdown menu. For multiple product reviews, this selection is not necessary.

This field is optional. Choose to mark reviews as published or verified by checking the respective boxes, or leave them unchecked if unnecessary.

Download the Sample CSV file if using the Nectar format to proceed with the import.

After downloading, you will be redirected to a confirmation page.

Prepare the file for uploading reviews. Ensure not to alter any headers; one of the email or mobile number parameters is mandatory.

Add necessary parameters such as the customer's name, reference, product, and source. Specify the source as "Shopify" for Shopify websites or as "custom website" for others.

Use the reference product ID for accuracy. The system will utilize this ID to associate reviews. You may include a product slug if applicable.

Include the Product ID if needed. The description field should contain the customer's review.

Step 18

Enter the brand's reply to the customer's review. Specify the rating provided by the customer. Optional fields include marking reviews as approved, verified, or featured.

Use binary values (one for yes, zero for no). For images, a maximum of five can be added, separated by commas.

Separate each image with a comma. Input the date when the review was created on the platform, modifying only the date.

Ensure the format from T to Z remains unchanged. Nectar records only the dates, not the times, so you may modify dates as needed.

The date format should be year, month, and day. Once ready, click "Upload File." Verify the sample review and then click "Import."

Check the status and await a confirmation email with the specific subject line.
