This document outlines the upcoming changes to credit applications within Tekion and provides guidance on their announcement to dealer partners. The process involves several steps, from initial announcements to finalizing credit applications using the updated system. Each step is designed to ensure a smooth transition and provide valuable information to all users.
Dealers will be greeted with a brief video overview when they first access the credit application, whether through CRM or the deals module. This video will explain the new enhancements and features.

Alongside the video, dealers will see bullet points summarizing the value of these changes. They can choose to watch the video later or proceed to the next step.

Non-GM OEM Route 1 dealers will be upgraded to a new partner API developed with Route 1. These dealers must opt into the new API via the Route 1 portal. Route 1 has also communicated this update through their user interface.

The process for Route 1 dealers involves two steps: logging into Route 1, agreeing to the terms on the pop-up message, and then seamlessly transitioning to the new API.

It is crucial for Route 1 dealer admins or DSAs to complete the login and agreement step to avoid credit app submission failures. This information is communicated through Pendo and mass communications, and is also shared directly with Route 1 partners.

Dealers can choose to acknowledge and learn more or revisit the video. For this demonstration, we will acknowledge and learn more.

At this point, dealers can access knowledge base articles for further information or complete the process.

After selecting "done," the final version of the guide will redirect dealers to the knowledge base, where they can relaunch the guide anytime.

Navigating to the credit tab, you can observe the new layout design.

The new layout presents a pop-up for users to select the type of credit application: individual, individual with co-app, business, business with co-app, or business with guarantor.

Dealers can select their agency, such as Route 1, Dealertrack, CUDL, among others.

Users have the option to display minimal fields for a quick five-liner credit app and can submit directly to lenders in the US through an aggregator.

While many dealers utilize Route 1, submissions can be sent directly to lenders from this interface.

Typically, submissions are sent directly to Route 1, and then dealers select the specific lenders they wish to submit to within Route 1.

The updated UI features a single page scroll, eliminating the need for multiple tabs and allowing for seamless navigation.

Users can easily navigate to specific sections using the options on the left side.

This UI update is also implemented in the CRM system.

Within the CRM, users will encounter the same Pendo guide for familiarization.

Non-GM Route 1 dealers will view the new integration information, and can choose to acknowledge and learn more.

By selecting "done," users are reminded of how to re-access this guide.

When completing a credit app, users will encounter familiar dropdowns.

The dropdowns will prompt users to choose the type of credit application, such as individual or business options.

Users will also select their agency for submission and determine if they wish to collect a five-liner credit app.

The CRM features the same single screen experience with a simplified UI, allowing easy navigation and ensuring smooth credit submissions, thanks to collaboration with Route 1 and Dealertrack on mandatory and optional fields.

This concludes the overview of the announcement and enhancements in Tekion's credit applications.
