This document provides a comprehensive guide on how to integrate the Nectar platform with WebEngage, enabling you to configure email and WhatsApp notifications. The steps include navigating the WebEngage platform, configuring necessary settings, and sending events for seamless communication and marketing automation.
To begin the integration with the WebEngage platform using Nectar, click on the Integrations tab and select Email Marketing.

After selecting Email Marketing, proceed to the WebEngage platform and click on Configure.

Upon clicking Configure, you will be prompted to choose a common property, license code, private key, and server prefix. Choose email as the common property.

Next, locate the license code and private key. Navigate to the WebEngage platform and access the Data Platforms section to find these keys.

Within the Data Platforms section, access the Integration tab.

Click on Integration, and then select REST API.

Select VIEW to find the license code. Copy the license code, return to the previous platform, and enter it in the designated field.

Similarly, locate and manage the API key.

Copy the API key and return to the Nectar platform to input it appropriately.

Specify the server prefix. For global API usage, select API. For the India platform, choose api.india, and then click Initialize.

Upon successful integration, a confirmation pop-up will appear. You can now send events to the WebEngage platform. Create various events to trigger different actions.

For instance, events like wallet points rewarded to customers can be configured.

Click to send this event to the WebEngage platform.

Once the events are set up, head over to the WebEngage platform to create specific customer journeys. Navigate to the Journey section to begin.

Here, you will find the occurrence of configured events.

Identify the specific event you are targeting.

All events from the Nectar platform will sync here. For example, events like wallet reward creation.

Once the trigger is established, save the journey, thus creating a wallet reward trigger.

You can then select any actions based on your brand's preferences or email communication modes to continue the journey.

This concludes the configuration process on both platforms.

We hope this documentation assists you effectively.
