This document outlines the efficient methods to apply tags to documents. You will learn about three different techniques: tagging a single document, bulk tagging, and applying tags within the document itself. Follow these steps to streamline your document management process effectively.
In this section, we will discuss how to apply tags to documents. There are three main methods to achieve this, and we will start by focusing on how to apply tags to a single document.

Next, we will explore the process of bulk tagging documents. Finally, we will address how to apply tags within an individual document.

Navigate to the Update Document submenu and select "Tag Documents" from the list of options. The Tag Documents dialogue box will appear. From the Actions button, select the appropriate action.

Choose "Add Selected" from the Actions options. You can also choose to add, remove, replace, or clear the tags. In this example, we will use the add option. Click on "Select" to choose the tag that you wish to apply.

Click "Apply Tags" to confirm the action. For applying tags to multiple documents, select all the documents using the tick boxes. Click on the Actions button, select "Tag Documents" from the dropdown list, and repeat the action: Add Selected, select your tag, then click "Select", followed by "Apply Tags."

When you open a document in the document viewer, there is an option to apply tags using the "Tag to the Document" button.
