This document outlines the process of embedding the Glean Agent into the Tray platform. The process involves creating projects and workflows, choosing the appropriate options, and configuring triggers and connectors within the Tray interface.
To begin, log into Tray and navigate to the workspace. You will find different tabs such as Projects, Services, Authentications, and Tray Chat.

Proceed to select the Projects tab and click on "Add Project." You will see three options: Automations, Merlin Agent Builder, and Import Project. For automations and integrations, select the first option. For Merlin Agent workflows, choose the second option.

The Import Project option is used for migrating workflows between workspaces. For this guide, begin with Automations by selecting "New Automation Project." If there is an existing template available in Tray, you can utilize it.

Choose "New Automation Projects," name it (e.g., "Tray Onboarding Automation Project"), and mark it as POC. Then proceed to create the project.

Upon creation, click "Add Workflow." You will see options like "From Scratch" or "From Template." You can also import downloaded workflows or move existing ones from other projects.

Select "From Scratch" and assign it a name, such as "Onboarding Automation Flow."

After naming, a list of available triggers will be displayed. These triggers are used for different situations, such as scheduled workflows or external app calls.

Workflows can also be triggered by external applications, form submissions, or received emails. Additionally, workflows can act as alert triggers configured to notify teams if a workflow fails.

API Operation allows setting up a workflow triggered by an external lab using the API endpoint and credentials. On the right, you can configure the workflow to be invoked through an external app event, such as when a change occurs in Salesforce.

Begin with "Manual." Create an onboarding workflow that assigns devices and applications to new users based on role, location, and employment type, such as full-time or contractor.

Based on user information, the workflow identifies devices and applications, sending email notifications. For this POC, there is no need to connect to Workday or Greenhouse.

Utilize dummy base routers and invoke the Glean Agent. After clicking the plus sign, a list of available connectors in Tray will appear.

Choose any connector from the list. Tray offers various types of connectors, including those related to AI and native service connectors, totaling over 550.

These connectors include over 550 predefined types and logical elements similar to programming language logic, such as Booleans and loop branches.

Declare a variable within the workflow to store intermediate results, assisting in data formatting. Use data pickers, JSON converters, and list helpers as needed.

These are the connectors available in Tray. If uncertain, begin typing the desired connector, such as "data storage."

Select one and proceed with the setup.
