This document provides a detailed overview of setting reminders and trading shifts within the shift management system. It guides you through the process of establishing timely notifications and effectively offering or trading your shifts with colleagues.
Proceed to the reminders section. Here, you can configure a reminder for each shift to receive a notification, such as one hour or one day before your shift begins. Setting these reminders ensures you receive a push notification on your smartphone based on your selected time interval.

All reminders will be delivered to your smartphone as push notifications.

Next, let's explore trading shifts. To offer one of your shifts, navigate back to the home screen and ensure "My Schedule" is selected, displaying all your published assigned shifts. For instance, if you wish to trade a PM call shift in April, you can offer it to everyone.

Click on the shift you want to offer, then click on "Offer." You will have two options: proposal and offer. Select "Offer."

There are four steps to follow, starting with selecting the shift, which we have already done.

Next, determine the acceptable outcomes for the trade. Decide if you want to give up the entire shift.

Consider if you'd prefer to split the shift, relinquishing either the first or second half, or if you're open to any trade proposals from colleagues.

Select the options that apply to your preferences. Do not concern yourself with the "replace lost time" question—simply choose the acceptable outcomes.

Proceed to step three where you select recipients. It is generally advisable to offer to everyone, ensuring the message is delivered to all.

Most departments default to this setting. As you select these options, you are creating a secure instant message that will be sent to everyone’s message inbox.

The message will contain a templated format identifying the shift you wish to trade and the response options available to your colleagues. If you remove an option, it will also remove the corresponding quick action button from their notification.

The message will be sent to all team members. You can also add a custom comment to the standard templated message.

Review the message preview to ensure accuracy. Once everything is in place, submit the offer for everyone to see by clicking "Submit Offer."

The system will then process your offer. You can verify on your calendar that the shift has been offered.
