This document outlines the process of manually adding a new deal in Pipedrive. Although most deals are automatically generated after a consultation via Calendly, there may be situations where it is necessary to manually create a deal, such as during visa renewals without a new consultation. Follow these steps to ensure all relevant information is entered correctly and efficiently.
Begin by noting that deals are typically added automatically after a consultation via Calendly. Once the consultation concludes, the deal will appear in the initial phase called consultation.

In certain situations, it may be necessary to manually add a deal. For instance, if an individual is renewing their visa without another consultation, you will need to add it yourself. First, locate the individual by navigating to the Pipedrive Search bar.

Ensure you do not select an old deal or project. Navigate to People, locate the correct individual, and click on Add Deal.


A new window will appear. Fill out all known information. Add the value and the correct label based on the type of visa.

Also, include an expected close date, such as one week from today.

Assign the case to the caseworker responsible, typically the person conducting the consultation. In this example, the caseworker is Hong. Enter her name again here. Also, select 'Draft' for CCL, as this will trigger automations for the draft creation.

It's crucial to adjust the visibility settings. Select 'Visible To' and choose 'All Users'. Click Save, then click View to access the new deal.


Go to Notes and record all the pertinent information.

Enter details such as visa type, price, and other relevant information. Click Save to preserve the changes.

Ensure that the note is pinned, as it contains critical information.

Explore the left sidebar for additional information fields. Enter any necessary information like referrals or overdue payments, as applicable.

With the deal created, automations are underway to commence drafting the CCL. Thank you for following these steps.
