TaskGorilla Candidate Sourcing Workflow

This document explains how to use TaskGorilla’s sourcing feature to find, filter, review, save, and invite suitable candidates for an open role.


Step 1: Access the Sourcing Tab

you are logged into your TaskGorilla account, go

to the Sourcing tab from the main navigation.


Step 2: Search for the Role You Want to Hire For

In the Sourcing tab, you can search for the specific role you are looking to

Enter a detailed title (for example, “Senior Product Designer”) to generate a list of candidates who match that role.


Step 3: Review Candidate Profiles and Details

For each candidate in the results, review the following information to assess suitability:

  • Skills tests they have completed, so you can verify their capabilities
  • Employment history, allowing you to examine their previous work information

  • Total years of experience
  • Preferred salary
  • Languages spoken
  • Location

Step 4: Apply Filters to Narrow Down Candidates

You can further refine your candidate list using filters:

  • Filter by location to focus on specific regions or countries.

  • Filter by skills test to require certain assessments (for example, only candidates who have taken the Figma test).

Step 6: Invite Saved Candidates and Customize the Message

When sending an invite:

  • Tailor your message to the candidate.
  • Optionally include an assessment directly in the invite.
  • Review the job information the candidate will receive and make sure it is accurate and up to date; you will see that the candidate will also be receiving information on the job, so ensure you edit this
