Enhanced Enrollment Process for Android

Experience Hexnode's streamlined Android enrollment, designed for efficiency and scalability. This process allows administrators to configure device settings, permissions, and onboarding seamlessly through enrollment profiles. Initially limited to QR codes, the process now includes support for SMS, email invites, and profile-only mode, empowering enrollment professionals with greater flexibility.

Step 1

Welcome to Hexnode's enhanced Android enrollment experience. This updated process is faster, more flexible, and scalable. Enrollment profiles allow administrators to reconfigure device settings, add permissions, and configurations for seamless onboarding. Previously, enrollment was limited to QR code only.

Step 2

Previously, there was no support for SMS or email invites, and profile-only mode was not available. Now, with phase two enhancements, enrollment has become more powerful than ever. Click on "Create Profile" and provide the profile name. You can select either profile mode from this section.

Step 3

Select the "Device Only" mode for now.

Step 4

Under "App Configurations," configure the settings for the Hexnode UEI map.

Step 5

In "Device Configurations," you will find a list of additional settings. You can also add the device to an existing device group, which applies the policies assigned to that group.

Step 6

"Enrollment Restrictions" is a separate section, and user authentication has been moved to its own dedicated section.

Save the enrollment profile or save and invite multiple users simultaneously.

This feature is particularly useful for bulk enrollment settings.

The enrollment profile has been successfully created, and a user has been invited via email.

You can also enroll devices using the QR code provided here. Managing these profiles is straightforward.

Activate or deactivate the profile using the toggle button provided.
