Create an ACE Application with Custom Knowledge

This document provides a comprehensive overview of creating a new application with custom Knowledge. Follow these steps to launch your app and tailor it to meet your unique requirements, including setting up privacy controls, customizing prompts, and integrating knowledge sources.

Step 1

Begin by launching the app and navigating to ACE. Expand the sidebar for quick access to platform features. Select 'Applications' to view all your current applications and modify them as necessary.

Click on 'Create new app' to start building from scratch. Bring your ideas to life by clicking 'Create application' to set up your application's details.

Step 3

Provide your application with a unique name to distinguish it from others.Describe the purpose of your application to potential users.

Select a category to ensure your app is organized within your team's workflow.

Step 5

Set the application to 'private' to keep it exclusive to you and restricted groups, or choose 'shared' to enable collaboration with your team. Assign user groups to control app access.

Expand the 'Instructions prompt' section to customize app responses based on your needs.Craft clear prompts to guide your application's responses or behavior.

Add knowledge sources to enhance your application's intelligence by selecting from all available knowledge sets.Click 'Add' to connect your chosen knowledge source to the app.

Access knowledge management to add your knowledge through a wide variety of platform connectors. A generic prompt will be added to the instructions, which you can edit as needed.

Enter clear, actionable instructions to improve your app's interactions. Add information using search to keep your app informed with the latest insights.

Choose an LLM model to define the AI engine powering your app.

To add language models, go to 'Global Settings' > 'LLM Management' and add them as required.
