This document provides a detailed walkthrough for managing File knowledge sources within a platform. You will learn to add, manage, and configure file sources while controlling user access and maintaining system efficiency.
Open the main menu to access more platform features and settings.
Select Knowledge Management to manage all your knowledge sources and resources.
Click Add Knowledge to start integrating new sources into your knowledge base.
Switch to the Organization Connector tab to manage sources available organization-wide.
Click the Add button in the Files section to start adding a new file source.
Enter a descriptive name for your new file source in the Knowledge Name field.
Click Browse to select a file from your computer to upload as a knowledge source.
Press Add Group Permission to define which user groups can access this file source.
Select a user group, such as All-Owner-Admin, to grant them permission for this file source.
Click Add Permission to confirm group access for the chosen file source.
Click Save to finalize adding the file source and apply your permission settings.
Select Existing file to view your uploaded documents.
View your newly uploaded file in the file base to confirm it's added.
Confirm your choice to permanently remove this file by selecting Delete.
Click delete to delete the file, or cancel to close.
Begin your review by selecting the file you wish to analyze. 
Access detailed insights for your files by selecting View Logs.
After analyzing the logs, click the X button to close.
Select Knowledge Objects to see all files in the knowledge base.
Click the search icon to quickly locate a specific knowledge object within your indexed data. 
Press Run Indexing to start a new scan and update content for your knowledge connector.
Access View logs to monitor activity or check for errors within your connector's operations.
Select Close to exit the Log Details dialog after checking indexing events or errors.
Use Edit to change connector configuration or update details for your website source.
Click the close (X) icon in the Edit Knowledge dialog to cancel and close the window & save to changes.
Click Delete to initiate removal of the entire connector. 
Select Close in the confirmation dialog to cancel the deletion and retain your connector.
Use Refresh to ensure you are viewing the most current configuration and operation data.
Click Back to connector list to return to the overview of all available connectors.
Here all the files uploaded and other Other connectors data stored as well are stored in the knowledge bases are shown in this Manage knowledge tab. 
If you want to configure file data sources for Files , open the Knowledge Management section and select Add Knowledge.
In Add Knowledge section, Switch to Individual Connector to view and manage sources tied to individual connector.
Select the Files connector option to manage file upload settings.
Set the maximum number of files users can upload in this field to control storage and compliance.
Enter the largest file size allowed (in MB) to limit individual upload sizes and optimize system performance.
Collapse the Files section to keep the interface clean after updating limits.
