This document outlines the login procedure for accessing the AVP's Training Portal. This process is designed for external users or contractors who lack an AVP email account. The steps differ slightly based on whether you have a Microsoft or non-Microsoft account.
To access AVP's Training Portal as an external user or contractor without an AVP email account, you must follow the login instructions provided. If you possess a Microsoft account, such as outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com, or a company email using Microsoft 365, log in using your email address and password.

After receiving an invitation to the portal, the assigned training materials will become visible. For those with non-Microsoft accounts, such as Gmail, Yahoo!, or a company email not using Microsoft 365, input your email address. A verification code will be sent to your email by Microsoft.

Copy the received code and enter it to complete the login process. This step must be repeated with each login attempt when using a non-Microsoft account.

Begin the demo by copying the provided link. Use any preferred browser; for illustration purposes, this example uses Chrome.

Log in to Chrome. A couple of test accounts have been prepared. Initially, a Microsoft account, specifically an outlook.com account, will be used.

The system will prompt you for your email password. It may ask whether you wish to remain signed in.

Choose 'No' if you prefer not to stay signed in, although selecting 'Yes' is also an option. You are now logged into AVP's Training Portal using an external account, such as the outlook.com account in this instance.

Close the current window. The following example demonstrates the login process using a gmail.com account, which is a non-Microsoft account.

Open Firefox and navigate to the same link. Log in using a Gmail test account set up for this purpose. The system will indicate that a code must be sent.

Access your Gmail account to retrieve the code. Once received, copy the eight-digit code.

Paste the copied code to proceed.

The system will log you in using your Gmail account, completing the process.
