Event Management with Mandup

This document outlines the step-by-step process of managing an event using Mandup. From creating an event to communicating with guests, each step is designed to simplify the event management experience, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.

Step 1

Upon logging into Mandup, you have the option to create a new event. To create an event, enter details such as the event name, names of the couple, the event date, location, budget, and the contact person. For demonstration, let's examine an event I've already created: Sarah's wedding.

Step 2

Once you access the page, you will see an overview of the event. This includes information on guest confirmations, pending RSVPs, and declined invites, alongside an activity log showcasing team activities on the platform. You also have the ability to manage the wedding schedule from this view.

Step 3

This step involves adding various functions that will occur during the wedding. By clicking on "Add Event," you can input the event name, date, time, and venue. This feature will be useful later when we discuss how checklists operate. Another section on your overview page is the notes.

Step 4

In the notes section, you can jot down quick notes for your team to refer back to and understand prior conversations leading up to the wedding. Now, let's explore the main highlight of Mandup: the RSVP section, which manages thousands of guest attendances for your event.

Mandup maintains a comprehensive record of every guest attending your event, whether it's hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands. Mandup manages this effortlessly. Guests can be added to the system through two methods.

Step 6

You may add guests individually or perform a bulk upload using the template provided. Once the guests are in the system, they can be utilized in various workflows that Mandup offers. Let's delve into how this benefits your wedding team.

The wedding team can create checklists for different events occurring during the wedding. These checklists may include various action items that need to be addressed before or during the wedding. Now, let's proceed to a more exciting feature.

Mandup enables you to send WhatsApp messages to all your guests. You can establish a rule-based system to contact guests based on their RSVP status and send them tailored messages after receiving an opt-in. Additionally, you have the option to send personalized messages, complete with media attachments.
