Quickbase Load Dispatch and Scheduling – Juiced Add-ons Overview
This document explains how to use the Juiced add-ons within the Quickbase Load Dispatch and Scheduling application to manage driver communication, collect signed agreements, generate and send invoices, export invoice data, and calculate and optimize routes.
Step 1: Review Post-Dispatch and Quality Inspection Data
The Quickbase Load Dispatch and Scheduling app is used to manage loads, drivers, vehicles, their statuses, and end-to-end dispatch trips. It supports efficient load scheduling, driver/vehicle assignment, real-time delivery monitoring, and complete trip history tracking.

The app integrates with FastField forms to collect post-dispatch details from drivers, including distance covered, hours driven, driver signature, proof of delivery, and fuel rate.

It also uses a quality inspection form to capture feedback from quality inspectors after delivery. Inspectors can report any damaged products and attach supporting photos using FastField forms.

Step 2: View Invoice and Cost Details
Within the application, invoice details are maintained for each customer, including the total invoice amount and individual cost components such as driver cost and fuel cost.
Step 3: Send SMS to Drivers with Text My QB
To communicate with drivers via SMS using the Text My QB Juiced add-on:
- Open the relevant load or trip record.
- Click the Send Text Message button to send an SMS to the driver.

- After sending, review the SMS log details, including:
- Confirmation that the message data was sent successfully
- Message sent date and time
- The unique message ID assigned to that SMS
Every time an SMS is sent to the driver, it is associated with a unique message ID, and both inbound and outbound message types are supported.

Step 4: Request and Capture Driver Agreements with Juiced Sign In
To collect driver agreements digitally using the Juiced Sign In add-on:
- In the driver or trip record, click Send to Juiced Sign In to initiate the agreement request.

- Confirm that you want to send the agreement request to the driver.

- The driver receives a notification indicating that a signature is requested and can click Review to open the agreement.
- The driver must check the required checkbox to indicate agreement before proceeding.

- After reading the agreement details, the driver clicks Sign.

- The driver can choose from pre-defined signature styles

or draw a new signature as needed.

- Once satisfied, the driver saves the signature

and then finishes the process to complete the agreement.

After completion, the system records that the agreement has been officially completed, and an SMS is sent confirming that the driver agreement PDF was completed using Juiced Sign In.
Step 5: Generate Invoice PDFs with Exact Form+
To create invoice documents using the Exact Form+ Juiced add-on:
- Navigate to the Invoice section for the desired customer or load.

- Trigger the Exact Form+ process to generate the invoice document.
- Monitor the generation progress until you see confirmation that documents were generated successfully.

- Once generated, the PDF document is attached to the Quickbase record as an EFP document.

You can open this invoice PDF to review details such as fuel charges, dates, amounts, and the total invoice amount that will be sent to the customer.
Step 6: Email Invoices Using Juiced Courier
To email the generated invoice PDF to the customer with Juiced Courier:
- From the invoice record, attach the generated invoice document if it is not already attached.
- Click Send Invoice Email to dispatch the invoice to the customer.

- The customer receives an email indicating that an invoice has been submitted, including the invoice amount and a PDF attachment for review.
Step 7: Export Invoice Data to Excel
To download invoice details as an Excel file using the Excel Docs Juiced add-on:
- From the invoice record, click the option to create/download Excel for the invoice data.
- Wait while Excel Docs processes the request and generates the document.

- Once generated, the Excel file is attached to the corresponding Quickbase record. Download the file

and open it to review:
- Invoice summary
- Billing details
- Load information
- All amount-related information
- Line items such as driver cost, fuel cost, and other charges, all in Excel format.
Step 8: Calculate Distances and Store Coordinates with QB Maps
To calculate distances and store geolocation data using the QB Maps Juiced add-on:
- Configure your records so pickup and drop-off locations store latitude and longitude directly in Quickbase.

- Use QB Maps to calculate the distance between two locations, such as pickup and drop-off.
- Run the distance calculation; the system displays the distance in miles (for example, 21.2718 miles).

- Review the latitude and longitude for both pickup and drop-off locations, which are stored and viewable in Quickbase.

Step 9: Optimize Routes and Get Directions with QB Maps
To perform route optimization and obtain directions between multiple locations:
- Open the QB Maps route optimization view.
- Use the feature to generate optimized routes and directions between locations.

- Enable multi-select to choose multiple locations for routing.

- Use the selection options to choose all or specific locations you want included in the route.

- Request directions to generate the route.

- Review the directions from point A to point B to point C, and so on. You can zoom in on the map and open the route in Google Maps if needed.

- Pinpoint a specific location on the map when necessary.

- Select particular locations as origin and destination:

For example, select a specific location

and choose options

to mark it as the starting point.

Then select the destination location

and confirm it as the destination before requesting directions.

The system will then provide directions from the selected origin to the selected destination based on the optimized route.
