This document provides a step-by-step process on how to create and manage new projects from a successfully closed deal. Each project is initiated once a deal is marked as 'Won,' and this guide will help you navigate through the process efficiently.
To initiate a new project, ensure it stems from a won deal. Each time a deal is won, a project is automatically created. Let's see how it is done.
Navigate to the 'Deals' section to locate the specific deal, or alternatively, use the PipeDrive search bar to find your desired deal by name.

Your selected deal should now be visible on the screen.

After selecting your deal, click on the arrow next to 'Won,' and proceed to mark it as 'Won' and initiate project creation.

A new window will appear. Select a suitable template for the project and ensure the correct caseworker and paralegal are assigned.

As an example, we will use Neha as the responsible caseworker and Isabele as the paralegal.

Set the project start date, which can be an expected date.

For example, set the start date for tomorrow.

Specify an end date for the project.

The project phase will default to 'Kickoff.' The project owner will always be the caseworker; in this context, Neha, since Neha and Isabel were marked previously.

Scroll to locate and select Neha.

Verify the contact person is linked, and ensure Neha is again selected as the caseworker.

Assign Isabel as the paralegal, in accordance with the selected template.

Proceed to select the visa type.

Select the visa type, such as P-A-P, and fill in any additional information as needed.

For visa renewals or other additional information, input details here. Finally, click 'Save' to complete the process.

Once saved, click 'View' to directly access your newly created deal, which will open in a new tab.

Review all activities and their expected dates. Assignments are visible for Isabele, the paralegal, and Neha, the caseworker. Use the left sidebar to add any additional information.
Step 19Right after the project is created, the client automatically receives three emails. The first is a Welcome Email explaining the next steps. The second provides the link to our Hotline for Questions. And the third explains How We Manage Communication throughout the process.
And that’s it! You should now be able to create and manage new projects confidently. If you have any questions, please contact your direct supervisor.
