Email Integration and Claim Management in HealSpan Portal

This document provides an overview of integrating email accounts with the HealSpan portal and managing claims through email. By following these steps, users can efficiently synchronize their email IDs, compose messages, and handle claims directly from their inbox.

Step 1

Begin by exploring the email service feature within the HealSpan portal. You have the capability to integrate multiple email accounts, such as a Microsoft or Gmail account.

Notice that two email IDs have already been integrated into the system. The selected email ID provides access to details of the inbox, including read, sent, and draft messages.

Utilize the option to compose a new email by adding the recipient, subject, message, and any necessary attachments. After integrating an email, the process is complete. The email claim fetch feature is also accessible for further actions.

In the email claim fetch tab, users can locate emails or claims from their inbox. The system reads the contents and has the ability to generate a claim in the system. Numerous emails have been processed and read by the system.

Proceed by clicking on the second claim. The system extracts details from the email, which are displayed in the uncollapsed view.

The uncollapsed tabs reveal stages and pertinent information. Users have two options: Compare and Merge or Create as New. Selecting Compare and Merge allows the system to identify existing claims and provide a match percentage.

Select a claim to merge it or opt to create a new claim. By choosing to create a new claim, the system will generate it accordingly.

Once the new claim is created, it is automatically pushed to the TPA, indicating that the APA has been triggered and the claim registered on the TPA portal.
