This document provides an overview of the Connecteam platform, highlighting its key features and functionalities. The step-by-step instructions will guide you on how to effectively utilize various aspects of the system, from accessing your dashboard to managing tasks and recognizing achievements.
Upon joining the company, you will receive a welcome email containing links to download necessary systems and gain access to the company's email and Connecteam.
Once logged in, your dashboard will display a feed where you can view posts and assignments relevant to you. The left sidebar, which varies based on your role, grants access to different sections such as company information, legal, HR, & Skills for caseworkers or paralegals.

If you belong to the operations team, the sidebar will also display operations-related information.

Start your day by clocking in. You can also request breaks for lunch or other reasons through this feature.

Let's move on to managing tasks. Here, tasks assigned to you will appear, along with their due dates. You have the capability to add new tasks as needed. Let's walk through adding a task.

To add a task, begin by entering detailed information to ensure clarity and visibility.

For instance, if sending a document, you can add a description here. Assign specific users, such as yourself or a colleague, to the task.

Tasks can also be assigned to entire groups, such as the legal team, as needed.

Define start and due dates for the task, with the option to specify by the hour or set it as recurring, ensuring consistent task management.

You can further break down tasks by adding subtasks.

For example, create a subtask labeled "Subtask Item One," with the flexibility to add more.

This concludes the task management section.

The Knowledge Base, accessible from the company's left sidebar, is crucial.

Explore the general Knowledge Base.

The Knowledge Base is continually updated with resources such as the company handbook, policies, resources, passwords, and templates.

Specific policies for different groups can be found under the Policies section.

Next, let's navigate to the Directory.

The Directory provides a list of all company employees, allowing you to email or chat with colleagues directly from the platform.

While you have access to phone numbers, Slack remains the primary communication tool.

Moving on to the Legal section. This section offers mandatory courses you need to complete.

Right now, as soon as you finish this video, the first thing you’ll do is your Onboarding course in the HR & Skills section.

Next, you’ll complete the Induction videos. All HR & Skills directly on your computer or by downloading the app on your phone.

Next, we explore the Forms section. Forms, which will be discussed with your supervisor, include quarterly self-assessments and personalized forms.

For time off requests, go to HR Skills in the left sidebar, select 'Time Off,' and click to submit a time off request.

Choose the type, specify the dates, provide a brief description, and submit.

You can review your request history.

The final section covers Recognitions. Recognitions highlight company achievements and recognizes exceptional contributions.

And that’s it! You’ve just learned the basics of Connecteam and how it helps us manage training, communication, and daily operations efficiently. Take some time to explore the platform, and remember—if you have any questions, please reach out to your direct supervisor.
