Device Addition Process

This document provides a comprehensive overview of the process to add a new device type, known as Guttabub, to the system. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful configuration and integration.

Step 1

Begin by creating an end-to-end documentation for adding a device. Our objective is to incorporate a newly developed device type named Guttabub.

Step 2

This new device type has been released as a beta version. Proceed to add a device in this section.

Step 3

Provide all necessary details to enable the discover button. If the IP address and port do not match, an error message stating "Port not available" will be displayed, and the discovery process will not proceed.

Step 4

Ensure that the IP address and port are accessible and available to the system for a successful connection.
