Welcome to the AVP Training Portal Login Instructions. This guide will assist contractors and external users in accessing AVP's training portal using their personal or company email accounts that are not linked to AVP's Microsoft 365 portal. The login procedure differs slightly based on whether you are using a Microsoft account or a non-Microsoft account.
To log into AVP's training portal, you can use either a Microsoft or a non-Microsoft email account. Microsoft accounts include services such as outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com, or any Microsoft 365 work or school email. Non-Microsoft accounts include Gmail, Yahoo Mail, or company email addresses that use services like Google Workspace. We will first demonstrate the login process for a Microsoft account.

Non-Microsoft accounts, such as Gmail and Yahoo Mail, differ from Microsoft accounts. These include company email addresses managed by services like Google Workspace. Let's begin by logging in with a Microsoft account.

You can access AVP's login portal by copying the link provided in your induction course email or by clicking directly on it. Navigate to the portal using your preferred browser. For demonstration purposes, we will use an outlook.com account.

Please enter your personal email address and password. You will then be prompted to choose whether you wish to stay signed in.

You may select "Yes" to remain signed in, which will keep your session active. You are now logged in using your Microsoft account and can view the portal.

Next, we will demonstrate the login process using a non-Microsoft account, such as a Gmail account.

Using a Chrome browser, navigate to the same login link. Enter your Gmail address, and a verification code will be sent to your email.

Please access your email to retrieve the verification code.

Once you have the code, enter it to proceed. You may encounter multiple codes; ensure you use the latest one.

After entering the correct code, you will be signed in. Unlike the Microsoft account login, you must enter a verification code each time you log in with a non-Microsoft account.

Please note that your login verification is securely managed by Microsoft, ensuring that no passwords or codes are shared with AVP or stored in their system. If you encounter any difficulties logging in, contact your local AVP representative for assistance. Thank you for using this tutorial.
