Configuring SMS Triggers Using Nectar Dashboard

In this process, you will learn how to enable SMS triggers using the Nectar Dashboard. This will allow you to send different SMS notifications based on various events. Follow these steps to seamlessly integrate and configure your SMS communication settings.

Step 1

Navigate to the Nectar Dashboard. To enable SMS triggers for various events, go to the 'Communication' section and click on 'Settings'.

Within the 'Settings' menu, proceed to 'SMS Settings' to initialize the SMS communication.

We have partnerships with Twilio and MTOWS. Select your preferred partner and enter the required details such as Data Sender ID, Account ID, and Authorization Token.

After entering the necessary details, click on 'Initialize'.

A success message will appear once the integration with Twilio is complete.

All the entered details will now be visible in the SMS settings.

Return to the SMS template section and sync the templates that you have created on this platform.

Assume that you have created multiple templates on the platform. All templates will be visible here. Navigate to 'Notification Settings' to create a notification under the 'Send an SMS' step.

Suppose you want to notify a customer about wallet points rewarded transactions. You can use one of the templates, such as "Hey," which is available here.

Decide which property you wish to send in this variable.

For this instance, choose to send the username. This is how you create this particular template.

After the template creation, the trigger is successfully generated.

Now, every time a wallet point reward is issued, this SMS will be sent to the customers.
