In this process, we will walk through the steps to transfer service-related pages from an old website to a new one. The task involves creating new pages on the new website by transferring content, ensuring proper setup, and updating necessary details for a seamless transition.
I have created a dedicated services template to facilitate the migration of pages under the services tab from the old website to the new one. All the content from these pages must be transferred to the corresponding new pages. This process begins under the 'Pages' section.

Let me illustrate how these pages are configured. The setup ensures that all headers on a page become links on the sidebar, allowing users to quickly navigate and scroll through the page content.

A request audit has been implemented due to the text-heavy nature of these pages. A button will always be available on the sticky sidebar to aid navigation. This is the functionality of the page.

Create a new page and ensure that you gather all related Google Docs for these pages to facilitate easy copying and pasting. This method enhances the efficiency of uploading content to the service pages.

Insert the headline at the top and add a featured image, which will appear on the side of the page. I located the task in Asana for this specific page, retrieved the Google Doc, and copied and pasted the content onto the new page.

Examine the original page on the live site for any images, ensuring that any used images are accurately placed back in the new page. For example, images found in the CB need to be correctly included.

These images should be incorporated into the template. While viewing two pages, if the CB requests images, promptly insert them to expedite the page recreation process.

Upload the content, set a featured image, and update the slug accordingly.

Modify the template to the service page template and set the parent to 'services' to ensure the URL appears correctly.

After content transfer, ensure links for phone numbers, contact, and addresses are added. Confirm that quotes copied over have the author’s name formatted correctly, adjusting as necessary.

Be attentive to bullet points. Some may need formatting adjustments, such as using Shift, Enter, and Enter again to maintain consistent bulleting within the content.

Ensure clarity in formatting, particularly for bullet points, as they may not translate accurately with copy-pasting and may require cleanup.

Complete the remaining page transfers. Several pages have been created already; please review these for reference.

While I am unable to leave this page currently, it is imperative that all required pages are transferred over as soon as possible.
