
The Revert Earned Points feature helps you maintain fairness and accuracy in your loyalty program by automatically deducting points when orders are canceled, refunded, or tagged with certain conditions.
This guide walks you through how to access, configure, and understand this feature — ensuring loyalty rewards are always aligned with real customer actions and Shopify order statuses.
Go to Features → Orders inside your dashboard to explore the Revert Earned Points option.


Locate Revert Earned Points and click Configure.
You’ll see that the feature is already enabled by default.

You can choose to disable or keep the feature enabled.
When enabled, the system will:
💡 Tip: Keep this feature ON to prevent customers from retaining points earned on invalid or reversed transactions.
If the selected order status or tag is detected, Nector will automatically reclaim the awarded points.
Example:
A customer earns 100 points on a ₹1,000 purchase.
If the order is cancelled or returned → the system automatically deducts the 100 points from their wallet.
