Export Orders Process

Introduction

The Export Orders feature allows you to download order-related data based on date ranges, customer-specific filters, order channels, and Nectar-related activity.

This export is useful for:

  • Order analytics & reporting
  • Loyalty program impact tracking
  • Audits & reconciliations
  • Filtering POS vs online orders
  • Understanding discount and UTM performance

Below is a step-by-step guide to exporting your orders efficiently.

Step 1 - Overview of the Export Orders Feature

In this video/tutorial, we will explore the Export Orders feature and how to use it.

Step 2 - Navigate to Export Orders

Go to:

  • Customer Data
  • Select Export Data
  • Locate Export Orders inside the Export Options section

Step 3 - Choose a Date Range

Click Export, then choose the date range for which you want to export customer order data.

You can select a maximum range of 90 days. For example, select September 1 → October 31 as the export period.

Step 4 - Export for a Specific Customer (Optional)

If required, filter the export by Lead ID to download orders for a specific customer only.

Step 5 - Export Nectar-Influenced Orders Only

Check this box to export only Nectar-influenced orders—orders where loyalty actions such as point usage or rewards played a role.

Step 6 - Export All Orders

If you uncheck the box, all orders within the date range will be exported, regardless of Nectar involvement.

Step 7 - Filter by Order Channel

You can filter orders by:

  • POS
  • Online
  • Other sales channels

Step 8 - Export Based on Channel

Select the channel(s) you want—such as only POS orders—and proceed to export.

Step 9 - Export Only Orders Using Nector Points

Use this option to export only orders where Nector points were used. This excludes:

  • Coupon-based orders
  • Referral-based orders

Step 10 - Export File Contents

Uncheck the Nectar points filter if needed, then click Export. The resulting CSV will include:

  • Customer email
  • Contact number
  • Reference order number
  • Order name
  • Source (e.g., Website or Shopify)
  • Total order price

Step 11 - Discounts & Marketing Source Details

The CSV will also show:

  • Discounts applied
  • UTM parameters for orders originating from Meta, Google, CRM tools, etc.
  • Details on whether the order came via performance marketing channels

Step 12 - Order Status Details

The export includes:

  • Fulfilled, shipped, or delivered status
  • Financial status (Paid/Unpaid)
  • Delivery status (if available from Shopify)
  • Coins rewarded for the order

Step 13 - Reward & Wallet Details

The file lists:

  • Coins rewarded
  • Coins disbursed
  • Coins spent
  • Any credit wallet usage
  • Tags associated with the order

Step 14 - Additional Metadata

The export also shows:

  • Internal tags (like Nectar tags)
  • Order creation date

You can revisit the portal to view history of previous downloads.

Step 15 - Resend Download Link

If you need the export again, click Send Download Link to have the file resent to your admin email.
