Configuring Usage Limits

This document provides a detailed process for configuring usage limits within our AI platform. By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and customize how resources are utilized across applications, groups, and individual users, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

Step 1

Choose ACE to unlock tailored AI capabilities that suit your organization's specific needs. Begin by opening the configuration panel to manage your platform settings.Navigate to Usage Limits to access controls for managing usage restrictions.

Step 2

Click the plus sign to add a usage limit, creating a new restriction for enhanced resource control.Open the Select Limit Level dropdown to choose where to apply the usage limit. Select Application to set limits for the entire app, ensuring balanced usage.

Step 3

Select the specific application where you want to apply your custom usage limit. Choose either ACE or ACE Apps according to your target to implement app-wide usage policies. Set the type of limit to tailor usage controls to your organization's requirements.

Step 4

Enter the number of requests allowed or budget amount to precisely manage activity levels. Input the request cap to enforce limits and prevent overuse. Alternatively, choose Budget Amount to set spending caps for maximum cost efficiency.

Step 5

Decide how often to reset the limit for continual automated management and finally click Add to save and activate your new usage policy instantly.

Step 6

Next, lets choose Group to apply usage limits to specific teams, optimizing group resource allocation.Select the target group to ensure usage limits focus on the appropriate users.Choose the type of limit that best fits your group's needs, whether it be the number of requests or budget amount.Enter the limit, and choose daily, weekly, or monthly reset options to align with your workflow.Confirm your settings by clicking Add for immediate policy enforcement.

Step 7

Now lastly, expand the limit level options to customize the granularity of policy enforcement. Select User to control access and consumption at an individual level.

Step 8

Select the users you wish to target with tailored usage limits for maximum control.Choose the metric for the user's limit, either Budget or Requests, providing full flexibility. Decide how frequently the user's limit should reset for continued coverage.

Step 9

Click Add to save new policies. Upon adding a usage policy, a window will appear. Click View under Description to review the details of your newly set policy.Edit to customize a usage limit according to your needs. Add a new usage limit to take control of user access and resource management.Download a comprehensive report.

Step 10

Alternatively, export only the current page's data for focused reporting or selected entries for targeted data portability.

Step 11

Easily remove unused or outdated limits with a quick delete.
