Fleet Management Instructions

This document provides a comprehensive overview of managing your vehicle fleet using the Rent Centric system. Follow these steps to efficiently control vehicle types, update images, manage pricing, and apply discounts through the integrated website and Rent Centric account.

Step 1

Begin by visiting your customized website. Scroll down to view the displayed vehicle types.

Step 2

To modify these types and their prices, access your Rent Centric account. Open it in a separate tab, navigate to Settings, then Vehicle setup, and select Types to see your vehicle listings.

Step 3

On the website, click on a vehicle type, such as a minivan, to manage its online visibility. Scroll to find this option.

Step 4

Deselect the online display option and click Save.

Step 5

Refresh the website. The minivan will no longer appear. To display it again, repeat the process in Rent Centric, ensure it's set to display online, and save.

Step 6

Refresh the website to see the changes. You can also update the main vehicle image.

Step 7

To change the vehicle image, revisit the minivan settings, click Select File, and choose an image from your computer.

Step 8

Select a new image, such as one of a Golf vehicle.

Step 9

After saving, refresh the website to view the new image for the minivan.

Instantly see how the updated image appears on your website.

Additionally, manage other images by adding or updating them, like interior shots.

Click Add More Images, select a file, upload, and save.

Remove any unwanted images and replace them with new ones.

Navigate to your website to verify the updated images.

Attempt to make a reservation to ensure the new images display correctly.

Additional images will now appear during the reservation process.

Review the updated vehicle information.

The memo box text can also be adjusted, reflecting any changes on the website.

Next, address vehicle pricing adjustments.

The pricing shown to customers on the website can be modified via the Rent Centric system.

Under Settings, select Rates, then Rent Rates, and Master Rates to create or adjust rates for online display.

In the Daily rate section, scroll to see vehicle types and adjust rates as needed for online display.

For example, the minivan rate of 79.99 is visible for pay later and pay now discounts.

Change this rate to 100.

Save your changes.

Refresh the website to apply the new rates.

The minivan is now listed at 100 per day, with a pay-now discount rate of 90.

Return to Rent Centric to further adjust daily rates as needed.
