This document provides a detailed walkthrough of using the tool to optimize client results efficiently. Each step is designed to guide users through the process of selecting clients, setting result parameters, and refining search filters, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Begin by selecting your client either at the top of the screen or using the provided shortcut in the tool. This will allow you to customize the subsequent settings based on the client's needs.

Once the client is selected, their information will automatically populate the fields. Set the limits for the results by selecting the relevant criteria. In this case, focus on Fixed Index Annuities (FIAs).

For RILA products, most professionals start by examining fixed index annuities. Utilize the back-testing feature to view the past 10 years of index history. Default values typically end on December 31st of the previous year, but for more recent data, adjust to the first day of the last month. Use the 'live only' option to exclude hypothetical back-tested data, if preferred.

Opt for the 'live only' button to filter results to those indexes with a minimum of 10 years of actual index history, excluding any hypothetical data.

This ensures all displayed data is based on real index returns, with no hypothetical data included.

Set a minimum AM Best rating for the carriers you wish to view on the screen. This can help in ensuring the credibility and reliability of the results.

To the left, utilize additional search filters to refine criteria tailored to the client's preferences. Start by choosing the crediting method. For instance, if the client prefers no account fees, specify this.

Select 'no fees' to ensure that the client is not charged for account maintenance.

Enable the 'no fees' option to exclude any products that come with fees.

Specify a preference for a product with a high cap rate of 10% or more, and at least 50% participation rate. This helps in narrowing down to more lucrative options.

Further refine the list by limiting the products under consideration to those that meet specific criteria.

Set the criteria for a minimum seven-year surrender charge product and ensure the product offers a premium bonus.

Enable options that accept additional premium to allow future investments into the annuity.

This feature allows for more investments later, eliminating the need for an income rider.

Adjust criteria to focus on specific crediting methods and indexes by setting the reset period to one or two years.

Exclude strategies that lock funds for three years or longer by selecting only one- and two-year strategies.

If you have preferred indexes, directly select them for a more focused analysis.

You can choose specific indexes, such as the S&P 500, or others you believe are promising. Narrow down the results and adjust or remove filters as needed by using the X icon next to filters.

After finalizing selections, download a report of the displayed results. This will show up to 15 entries, with an option to load more for a total of 30.

If you prefer, select specific options to include only those in the report.

Use the check mark next to the desired options.

Then, select 'Download Report' to generate a comprehensive report of the chosen information.

Explore additional features, such as the shortcut action menu, for quick navigation.

Quickly access full product illustrations or strategy details for in-depth analysis.

You can also open product details and access brochures efficiently.

The index performance line provides insights into raw index data. Clicking on it reveals detailed performance metrics.

For instance, view data for a particular index like the Morgan Stanley index.

To analyze index history, compare it to benchmarks such as the S&P 500 by using the 'Index Performance' feature.

Exclude hypothetical back-tested data from the chart by toggling the relevant options.

This action will remove the hypothetical data from the chart, allowing a comparison with the S&P 500 benchmark.

If you observe multiple entries from the same insurance company or product, use the 'top per carrier' filter for a streamlined view.

This setting displays the best result per insurance company or, if too restrictive, 'top per annuity' to show the best account per product.

Currently, sorting is based on the most recent 10-year history. Consider alternative sorting options.

Additional sorting options include the best and worst 10 years out of the last 20 years.

Choose to sort by the best or worst results, as preferred.

Or, if you're feeling ambitious, examine the 15-year returns for a more comprehensive understanding.
