This document outlines the procedure for setting up and logging into your account with two-factor authentication. By following these steps, you will secure your account using an authentication app and a backup email method. This guide ensures a seamless login experience, highlighting actions to be taken in case you lose access to your primary authentication device.
Upon your initial login, you are required to select a password. Please re-enter the chosen password for confirmation.

After signing in, select a two-factor authentication method. Here, click on the "Authenticator app" to use an authentication application on your phone.

Use your phone to scan the QR code displayed on the screen. Once you have the authentication code, enter it in the provided field.

For additional security, we recommend setting up a backup authentication method. Click on "Email" to proceed with this option.

This email backup is useful if your phone becomes inaccessible. You're now ready to fully use the S5I system. For demonstration, I'll log out and illustrate the login process.

Select your username and enter the password. The system will then prompt you for an authentication code from the Authenticator app. If the phone is unavailable, opt for "Use another authentication method."

Select the "Email" option.

An email containing a code will be sent to you. Once received, enter the code in the designated field.

If this is a work computer or a trusted device, you may choose to click on "Trust the device."

Selecting this option means that the system will not ask for your authentication code for the next 30 days on this device.

Click on "Confirm" to complete the process. You are now successfully logged into S5I.
