Unlinking and Relinking Slack Channels in Provarity

This document provides a concise walkthrough on how to unlink a Slack channel from an opportunity within Provarity and subsequently relink it. This process is helpful if you have inadvertently linked the wrong Slack channel or need to update the current channel association.

Step 1

To begin, navigate to the Provarity interface. If you have inadvertently created a new Slack channel, you may need to unlink it from the opportunity.

Step 2

If you need to reassociate the correct Slack channel, start by accessing the Deal Settings located in the top right corner.

Step 3

Within Deal Settings, select the Slack Channel Settings and choose the option to Unlink.

Step 4

Once the Slack channel is successfully unlinked, you will need to locate the code necessary for relinking. In the specific Slack channel, go to Edit Settings. Under the About Me section, you will find your channel ID.

Step 5

Copy the channel ID and paste it in the appropriate field to relink the channel.

Step 6

Your Slack channel has now been successfully linked.
