Welcome to ACE Search Knowledge, a feature designed to help you efficiently interact with AI-powered search and retrieve the most relevant information from your knowledge base. This guide provides a complete walkthrough of the workflow—from initiating a chat and posing your query, to applying filters, reviewing supporting documents, personalising prompts, and monitoring query details. With ACE Search Knowledge, you can refine responses, evaluate sources, and tailor results to match your exact needs.
Begin by clicking on 'Chat' from the left-hand side panel. 
Next, open the chat type dropdown and select 'Search Knowledge'.


Enter your question to receive AI-powered answers, supported by a knowledge base.

Observe the reasoning engine, which appears to track the process and delivers responses from ACE.


Check the sources of the response.

Examine the section for follow-up questions.

Click here to view the retrieved documents associated with your query.

Review the relevance score of each document.

Choose any document to generate answers from it; once selected, it will appear above the message box.


Collapse the retrieved documents panel. 
Here, you can like, dislike, copy, or modify the response. 
Use setting options to fine-tune your knowledge search for more relevant results.

Utilise filters to limit the knowledge accessible to the LLM. Filter the response by sources, knowledge sets, and time range. Apply your filter settings for more precise answers.

Remove any selected filter by clicking on the 'X'. 
You can filter by knowledge sets or by time range.


Reset filters to view all available content afresh. 
Toggle the brand voice on or off to align the assistant's tone with your brand. 
Click 'Apply' to save changes.

Explore and select a ready-made prompt to expedite your response generation. 
The chosen prompt will appear in the message box.

Edit the conversation name or choose to delete the conversation as needed.

Select 'Prompt Personalisation' to easily customise the interaction style of your AI chatbot. 
Expand this option to adjust the search knowledge prompt.

Click 'Save' to save changes. 
Open the monitoring area for real-time insight into your chatbot's performance. Check the query information and history of questions by navigating to the 'Requests' tab.
Examine information about the query you posed. 
Obtain an overview of the query and the response.
Review the number of tokens and the cost associated with the query.

Investigate the sources of the generated response and review other configurations.
