Refreshing eBay Listing Prices

This document outlines the process of revising your eBay listings to update pricing, ensuring it remains current. It is essential to understand that E-Lync does not automatically adjust eBay pricing when you update prices within your Yard Management System (YMS). This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to manually revise and update your listings on eBay.

Step 1

Begin by understanding the process of updating your listings to ensure your pricing is current. Remember, E-Lync does not automatically update eBay prices when changes are made in your Yard Management System (YMS).

Step 2

Navigate to "Manage Account" located in the top left corner, and click on "Account Settings" to begin the revision process.

Step 3

In this section, you will be able to identify the pricing strategy being used for your listings.

Step 4

Decide which default listing price you want to use from your YMS: retail, wholesale, or e-commerce.

Step 5

Determine which pricing strategy you will use before starting the revision process.

Step 6

Proceed to the "Listings" section.

Step 7

Ensure you are in the "Listed" tab. This feature complements the "List as New" feature, which is detailed in a separate video.

Step 8

If you offer free shipping and have multiple part types with the same shipping markup, such as headlights and taillights, enter them separated by a comma.

Step 9

Select different part types as needed. To enhance efficiency, consider keeping a document to track part types with similar markups.

Step 10

For today's example, we will work with a single part type number, specifically our 560s.

Step 11

Press the "Search" button to continue.

Step 12

For this demonstration, we will use our 128s.

Step 13

Enter the 128 into Quick Search, hit "Search", and then select all the items that appear.

Step 14

Click on "Bulk Change" to proceed.

Step 15

If you offer free shipping, this will be a two-step process. Start by expanding eBay prices.

Screenshot

Step 16

Under "Listing Format Action," change the setting from "No Change" to "Change To."

Screenshot

Step 17

Focus on the "Fixed Price" option within the dropdown selections.

Screenshot

Step 18

Change the "Fixed Price" and, if using retail pricing, select "Reset to Retail."

Screenshot

Step 19

Scroll down and click "Update."

Screenshot

Step 20

For those not offering free shipping, click the "Revise" button.

Screenshot

Step 21

If you offer free shipping, keep items selected and proceed to "Bulk Change" again to add the shipping markup.

Screenshot

Step 22

Consider markups for core costs or eBay fees, which may require multiple adjustments.

Screenshot

Step 23

For the purpose of this tutorial, focus on shipping. Expand eBay prices, change "Listing Format Action" to "Change To," and select "Fixed Price, Increase By Value."

Screenshot

Step 24

Opt to increase by value, and enter $25 for this example.

Screenshot

Step 25

Click "Update" and observe the price changes to the right.

Screenshot

Step 26

Once complete, click "Revise." The revised listings will move to the "In Progress" tab and, once live, will be in the "Listed" tab. For inquiries or further assistance, contact ebay@hollanderparts.com.
