This document provides a comprehensive walkthrough on configuring Keeper multifactor authentication within client ecosystems. The guide ensures enhanced security by integrating two-factor authentication, offering an additional security layer beyond mere password protection.
Begin by opening Keeper. Within the client systems, you will store records for multifactor authentication setup.

Select Exponent as an example. Ensure that the login credentials and password are already available.

On the right-hand screen, open Microsoft in an incognito tab. Sign in to your account.

Copy and paste the login credentials into the required fields.

Send the number for approval through the existing multifactor authentication system. Once approved, proceed.

Upon reaching the client's landing page, navigate to 'View Account.' From there, proceed to 'Security Info.'

Note the system's limitation on the number of multifactor authentications. When selecting 'Add a sign-in method,' ensure the desired option is available.

Recognize that Oliver's phone is associated with the current method. Delete this method and reload the page for updates.

After clearing out to less than five methods, select 'Add a sign-in method' to include a Microsoft Authenticator. Set up a different authentication app without scanning the QR code by clicking 'Can't scan QR.' Then proceed to 'Edit' and 'Add a two-factor code.'

Opt for 'Manual Entry' instead of the QR code and proceed to copy the necessary details.

Copy the account details and the secret key accurately.

Proceed to copy the two-factor authentication code.

Use the copied two-factor code to complete the setup process.

Once completed, sign out and then sign back in to verify the setup's effectiveness.

Save your work. Proceed to re-sign back into the system to confirm the changes.

If prompted, select an alternative to the Microsoft Authenticator by choosing to use a verification code instead.

Copy and paste the verification code to gain access. The two-factor code regenerates every 30 seconds, eliminating the need to store password information in Dynamics.

This method adds an additional layer of security.
