This document outlines a streamlined process for preparing your engineering performance review using Glean. With the assistance of Glean Agents, you can effortlessly compile and assess your contributions over the past six months, saving you valuable time and effort.
To initiate the process, Glean distinguishes your work from others by using a personalized knowledge graph. This capability allows Glean Agents to compile all your work from the past six months efficiently.

Due to the large volume of work, Glean Agents separate the tasks into three time frames, each covering two months. It then performs a detailed analysis for each period, grouping activities by project and highlighting the project's impact along with your contributions. Projects with minimal contribution and routine tasks like tracking issues in Jira or participating in discussions are excluded.

The agent systematically analyzes projects in each two-month period—first months one to two, then three to four, and finally five to six. It reviews the complete list of projects and their impacts and subsequently drafts a performance report following an established template.

The process concludes with the creation of a Google Doc for your review. Instead of spending several hours revisiting numerous documents, you can now focus on refining the drafted report. This method provides a comprehensive evaluation of your performance, allowing you to swiftly return to your tasks.
